AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): City Buses went in strike protesting against private buses are carrying passengers from various spots.

Total 40 buses have went in strike for whole day.

According to the drivers and bus staffs, the city buses are allowed to stand in stoppages just for two minutes which are not enough and the private buses are seen standing inside taking all the passengers.

With all these, demanding more time for stoppage and protesting against private buses carrying all passengers, city buses went in strike for whole.
