‘Crime against women in Tripura at down under BJP Govt’, claims CM

AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that crime rate has been downed in Tripura.
He criticized the previous CPI-M Govt for making Tripura an illegal drug-trading zone.
Deb said, drug-addiction in the society is connected to crime against women and as much as drug addiction is controlled, the crime rates will be downed.
In the contrary it can be mentioned here that there is an alarming rate in the minor girls’ rape incidents in Tripura, however, police are active against such crimes.
