AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): On CM’s initiative, every Friday, District Magistrate and Collectors accompanied by the District heads of relevant line departments shall inspect and review all major Government schemes and projects in one Gram Panchayat, Village Committee of their Districts, a Govt official said.

No meeting in the State / District headquarters, tour of senior Government functionaries, in the District will be scheduled on Friday.

In rare circumstances if DM and Collector is unable to do inspection, then a note to be submitted through the Government through Secretary, RD stating the appropriate reason.

Some areas of field visit will cover :

1) Field inspection of works,

2) Walk-through of habitation area,

3) Visit to school /heath establishment/ Anganwadi Centres/ anyother Govt offices,

4) Jan sunwai / public hearing of general grievance of villagers,

5) Inspection of final records of GP/VC office

Inspection will be done on MGNREGA work-developments, PMAY schemes, NRLM, RD Engineering projects, drinking water, sanitation, ration, health service etc.
