AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Tripura has started exporting pineapples first ever in the neighboring country Bangladesh.

Report says that the pineapples were exported from Tripura to Bangladesh’s Comilla district through Srimantapur Land Custom Station (LCS) last week.

Earlier, Govt started pineapple export in Dubai.

Recently state BJP said that per week at least 200 matric tons pineapples were exported.

80 matric ton pineapple are at average sent to Delhi, 6 metric ton at Bangladesh, in West Bengal 15 metric ton.
