Tripura Govt says, it supplied 20 kg free ration to 62,000 people in 2 months

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 16 (TIWN): In the NITI Aayog meet, Govt of Tripura led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, at least 62000 families were provided with 20 kg of free rations in 2 months.
In a press release, it was stated that on the similar lines of Govt of India, State Govt has taken lead and given and given further fillip to the backward district by declaring 12 ADC blocks (4 in Dhalai District, 1 in South Tripura District, 3 in Gomati District, 2 in North Tripura and 2 in Khowai District) as distressed blocks.
Accordingly, State Govt has provided free ration 20 kg per moth NFSA families numbering 62,000 for 2 months.
