AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Tripura’s veteran Journalist, member of CPI-M State Committee Milan De Sarkar passed away today.

He was the founder member of Agartala Press Club, was 68 years old. Today at GB hospital, Sarkar has breathed his last at around 1 pm whereas for many days his health remained critical. His body was donated to Medical College accordingly. Milan De Sarkar being the founder member of Agartala Press Club recently came in protest trough his words after Agartala Press Club was allegedly occupied by a section of journalists illegally after the Govt changed. However, he could not see the ongoing legal case’s ending result of the Press Club. All sections of people have condoled his death.
