Planning Dept meeting discussed about ‘Clean Drinking Water’ service

AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): One of the major problems of State Tripura which is water-crisis, specially drinking water crisis made a place in Planning Dept’s meeting headed by Chief Minister Biplab Deb today.
The Dept which basically focused on survey and data base inventory and prioritization, has prioritized the water-crisis problem.
In few rural areas huge water crisis are going on, which were reflected in last few days of protests staged by local people.
The all discussed issues of today are : 1) Inclusive growth of Tripura, 2) Clean drinking water, 3) Doubling of farmers income, 4) Irrigation, 5) Infrastructure development and 6) Agriculture & Animal Husbandry.
