AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Congress President Pradyot Manikya during Youth Congress’s agitation for long days organized to protest against poll violence in Tripura asked BJP not to tolerate criminals inside the party.

According to Pradyot Manikya, the criminals and smugglers before 2018 maximum were in CPI-M and now under BJP shelter, but in reality, they don’t work for the party but they just work for themselves.

The party President also asked his party leaders never to accept criminals in the party.

Tripura Congress has started legal battle for party activists who have been affected in post-poll violence after Lok Sabha Election result was declared.

In the post poll violence at least 200 people were injured and 4 people died in Tripura.
