‘No loss in Pineapple sale’, BJP refutes media report

AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): A local popular newspaper on yesterday had published a news asking Govt data on pineapple sale as the Agriculture Dept didn’t give details about pineapple export.
The newspaper claimed that pineapple cultivators are undergoing losses and dream of queen pineapple is ended.
Refuting the news, state BJP said that in last 1 week at least 200 matric tons pineapples were exported.
80 matric ton pineapple sent to Delhi, 6 metric ton at Bangladesh, in West Bengal 15 metric ton.
