AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Govt of Tripura has launched various programmes on the occasion of “Food Safety Day”.

A rally was conducted, marched by students to aware public about right food choice.

They raised various slogans as “Eat right, prevent anemia”, “Eat right food for strong bones”, “Read food labels to know what you are eating” etc.

The first ever celebration of the United Nations World Food Safety Day, to be marked globally on 7 June, aims to strengthen efforts to ensure that the food we eat is safe.
