AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): BJP goons massive post poll violence continued unabatedly to innocent citizens as State's Law & Order in peril.

On 23rd May 2019 at night BJP hooligans vandalised house of Lawyer Minhaz Alam at Joynagar in Agartala.

“Lawyers of Democracy” condemned the attacked, sought justice. A team of advocates led by senior lawyers Purushottom Roy Barman, Bhaskar Debbarma, Advocate Koushik Nath visited his home.

An FIR has also filed in West Agartala Police Station.This is not the first attack on Tripura advocates.

Back in November 2018 one advocate was murdered in Tripura.

Advocates team led by noted Human Rights Activist, Lawyer Purushottam Roy Barman and Lawyer Bhaskar Debbarma sais, “We are Lawyers for Democracy visited his house today by us and Lawyers Tapan Saha, Manish Bhattacharjee and others. Victim Lawyer Minhaz Alam is also member of Tripura Bar Association”.
