AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 2 (TIWN): Reacting over the termination of Tripura’s most popular Minister Sudip Barman, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is also the President of Tripura BJP since 2016 said that leaders should know how to satisfy own party and the people.

Biplab Deb said, nobody is beyond the party and just like Biplab Deb who due to his party chaired the CM and via party he reached people in the same way all party workers should think.

“It is necessary that one should make the people happy and also should satisfy the party”, said Biplab Deb.

On being asked by journalists why Sudip Barman was not served with any showcause notice, Biplab Deb said, in constitution there is rule that one has to be served with reason for termination from the cabinet.

Sudip Barman, joined BJP from Congress in 2017 ahead of Assembly Election which strengthened BJP and helped to unseat the then Manik Sarkar's Communist Govt of 25 years.
