AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 2 (TIWN): After Chief Minister Biplab Deb led Tripura Government axed former Health Minister Sudip Barman from the Ministry, BJP has clearly denied for having any conflict between Barman with the BJP party. On being asked by media, BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha stated that there is no connection between removal of the former Minister from the cabinet and the state politics. He confirmed it was departmental issue decided by the Government of Tripura and BJP is ignorant about the cause. Media also asked whether it was “surgical strike” in the party / govt which was announced by the Chief Minister or not, Sinha denied for having any knowledge about it. Health Minister Sudip Barman who is leaving Minister’s quarter tomorrow, he said he is unhappy that he could not satisfy the Chief Minister but many times he worked sacrificing his own health. Moreover, in legal points also due to party works nobody can be terminate from his / her constitutional post before the tenure ends.

At the same time Various national media have claimed that due to anti-party activities, Sudip Barman was removed from the Ministry, even though logically and legally a person can not be axed from Ministry due to political movements.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb has not yet commented anything before the media till now regarding removal cause of Barman. But, public are eagerly waiting to know the Chief Minister’s statement about removal of Sudip Barman from the Ministry.

But BJP has confirmed there was no report on anti-party activity by the axed Minister.

Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman was removed from the cabinet on May 31st night even though no official letter was directly sent to Sudip Barman.

Sudip Barman was a former Congress MLA, joined BJP in 2017, August 7 and changed BJP’s fate, unseating Communist from the power.

But even though it was expected that Sudip Barman will quit BJP and join Congress, there is so far no sign of it. 

Recently after a doctor was attacked by mob, Sudip Barman raised question about the law and order situation under Home Dept and condemning attacks on doctors he surrendered his own escorts and the Home Dept is under Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

But what the departmental wrongdoing was done by Sudip Barman it is unknown.
