AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 1 (TIWN): Sacked Health Minister Sudip Barman has briefed media after the news flashed on his termination. He assured that he is leaving the Minister’s quarter on Monday. Addressing media, the ex-Health Minister Sudip Barman said that he hasn’t informed till now via official letter about his termination but from media and social media he has been reported about it. Sudip Barman said, “The whole issue depends on a Chief Minister what to do with the cabinet it’s up to him. I will be working for the people irrespective of any situation but I received a pain inside thinking that I could not satisfy the Chief Minister of the state by my performance. I will be working for the people of my state and people are the greatest judge. They will judge whether I worked properly or not”. Barman further stated that as far as he was the Health Minister he tried at his best to develop the state under his departments. “Being a Health Minister, I compromised with my own health many times. What happen it is for good and what will happen it will be for good", Barman said.

But what hit me that after the  news was flashed across my area police were deployed. Am I such a person who will create turmoil over a Govt decision ? At least I am not so cheap. Rather, in coming days also, I will be working for the people and always I will protest against any violence”, said Sudip Barman.

The ex-Minister Sudip Roy Barman has joined BJP on 7th April, 2017 in the presence of national BJP leaders and shared a same dais to unseat the then Communist Government.

He joined BJP with 6 MLAs and huge numbers of voters which led the Assembly Election 100%  benefited for the BJP.

Recently regarding a doctor assaulting case, tension between Chief Minister Biplab Deb and ex-Health Minister Sudip Barman increased when Barman came in controversy after criticizing the BJP Govt and CM’s Home Dept.

After the termination, being asked by media, Sudip Barman said that he will leave his Govt quarter on Monday as according to his religious faith he can not leave the home on Sunday.
