CPI-M requests EC to remove existing RO of West Tripura

AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): CPI-M has urged Election Commission again to remove Returning Officer (RO) of West Tripura Sandeep Mahatme.
Earlier also, CPI-M urged the same to Election Commission.
Sandeep Mahartma (also DM West Tripura) who shutdown Daily-Desher-Katha newspaper illegally and also delivered unsatisfactory report on Madhav Bari violence; many times allegedly played intrigue against CPI-M.
Thus, CPI-M has once again requested the Election Commission same. At the same time, question was raised on EC’s silent role.
