AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): Following various attacks on CPI-M leaders including former CM Manik Sarkar, CPI-M State General Secretary Gautam Das on Friday said that once the state known for its highest voting percentage whereas today the state’s people are afraid to cast their votes.
“In our state also in last 1 year in that people are much angry and frustrated of the Govt. Those who voted for BJP for development today repenting. No law and order is existing anymore”, said Das.
Gautam Das said, “Day night Biplab Deb is threatening that he would teach lessons to opposition and because he is holding the Home Ministry and deployed jawans are working under direction of Tripura police. So no action is being taken against the BJP hooligans”, said the CPI-M leader.
