AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): Amid tall claims on free water connectivity within 2020 by the ruling govt in the so called ‘Hira Era’, the residents ADC area are not getting clean, safe drinking water for a couple of months. It includes Udaipur, Amarpur and South Tripura’s several areas.

Due to lack of maintenance of pipelines such problems are increasing since a year.

But the concerned authorities are taking rest in their offices instead of trying to solve the problems of the residents.

The locals of Udaipur Killa area raised the issue several times to the Pradhan, but Pradhans allegedly turned a deaf ears.

The problem of water scarcity is a growing one in the rural Tripura, and the areas under the Dhalai District like Govindabari, Thrcherra, areas under the Longthorai Valley, Jampuijala, Takarjala, Manikpur, Narayansingh Ruazapara and other tribal dominated areas are lacking pure and safe drinking water.

The safe drinking water is still unreached to the rural areas especially in the South, Dhalai district, where the villagers needs to spend their time searching for a clear, safe drinking water moving far from their villages.
