AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): INPT who announced to battle the Lok Sabha election alone, has now decided to go with Congress to support in the Lok Sabha election.

INPT leaders have met Congress President Rahul Gandhi at Delhi.

After the alliance was confirmed, State Congress President Pradyot Manikya announced, “MOU signed between the AICC and INPT assures that Congress will scrap CAB,Restore Forest Bill , Direct Funding to ADC areas,Kok Borok in Roman script and proper implementation of the TNV/ATTF accord . Both BK Hrangkhawl and Jagadish Debbarma have now decided to support us instead of contesting in the seats .I am glad that my personal relationship and warmth with the leaders from INPT ensured a smooth discussion”.
