AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Even though various questions are being raised why leaders like Subal Bhowmik is joining back Congress, but the reason is not laid in single answer.

BJP Govt’s failure and deteriorating law and order are although major reason but it has been alleged that Biplab Deb tells former Congress leaders directly that BJP didn’t come in Tripura due to Congress, rather came by own organizational strength.

Across social media massive insults are being done to the former Congress leaders as they are now again returning to Congress. Biplab Deb losing control on speech even called them broker, fox, betrayer, whereas for long one year, Biplab Deb and Pratima Bhowmik fueled open war against these ex-Congress leaders. Biplab Deb’s rude behavior and cheap politics against own party members have come in media again and again. For example, Health Minister Sudip Barman faced various insults due to Biplab Deb’s intrigue against his dept. Many programmes were cancelled by CM’s dept whereas in open programme Biplab Deb raised question, why blood crisis is in hospitals amid so many blood donation camps raising finger on Health Dept. Also without Health Minister various meetings were held by Biplab Deb. Same happened with Subal Bhowmik like leaders, who was public’s first choice as BJP State President but stopped by Biplab Deb and Pratima Bhowmik.

Tripura Congress has slammed BJP President of Tripura, cum CM for calling former BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik a broker and fox.

“The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee has found through media reports that BJP’s Tripura Pradesh President and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb used objectionable words like ‘broker’, ‘sly fox’ and ‘thief’ while speaking about the Congress party and return of former BJP Tripura vice president Subal Bhowmik to Congress”, said Congress.

“We, at Tripura Pradesh Congress, vehemently condemn these  unparliamentary use of words from the honourable Chief Minister, which is most unbecoming of a leader of his stature. We challenge him to prove in pen and paper any of his allegations or offer an unconditional public apology to the Congress party and Mr. Subal Bhowmik”, said Congress in a statement.

“Defections are but a common practice in politics and anyone who wishes to legally join any political party and work according to its Constitution, believing in its ideology, are welcome to do so. The Indian Constitution grants the right to free practice of political activities to everyone. However, as seen in several instances, BJP is intolerant to the individual rights and freedom of people and burst out in frustration whenever anyone leaves their party. Mr. Chief Minister seems to have forgotten that not long ago, his party swelled by defection of supporters of other political parties, who simply wished to get rid of the tyrant Left Front government”.

However, Congress has assured BJP that BJP Govt will be collapsed just after the Lok Sabha election.
