AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Even after IPFT announced to give separate candidates, netizens are trolling the IPFT saying, they are yet playing “Money Games”. The allegation came, as IPFT only announced to give separate candidates but did not break the alliance. The anger among public erupted against IPFT when the party denied to break the alliance with BJP after Madhab Bari violence, rather IPFT supported BJP Govt which was calling the Madhab Bari agitators against Citizenship Bill as anti-social, anti-national (6 youths were injured in police firing, followed by police led attack on ambulance on January 8, 2019). Today after IPFT President NC Debbarma announced that IPFT will declare candidates’ names tomorrow, few netizens even commenting, ‘East or West, Money is the Best’ (Tripura has two seats : East and West Tripura).

IPFT President NC Debbarma said, “If BJP doesn’t keep their promises and commitments then in coming days the alliance may end permanently. If BJP thinks it can win alone, then they are wrong, rather IPFT will win without BJP”. 

After the meeting,  Party Secretary Ananta Debbarma said that already candidates are selected and tomorrow IPFT will announce their candidates’ names.

Ananta Debbarma hit BJP saying, “During the Assembly Election out of 20 seats, we gave 11 seats to them, but now can’t they give us 1 seat ?The BJP says that friendship can’t lead to compromise. So we also don’t want to fight with friendship. If within tomorrow they do not give us East Tripura seat, then we will announce our candidates’ name for two seats. Tomorrow at 1 pm we will announce our candidates’ names”.A meeting was held between IPFT leaders, MLA to discuss about MP candidates’ names.
