AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Shocking claim from BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav while answering a media question about law and order situation of Tripura.
Madhav was asked by Agartala journalists whether law and order is in danger as election commission has announced elections in two phases.
In reply to the media query, Ram Madhav said, ‘Democracy was saved by the Govt of Tripura in last 1 year…….rather it has developed’.
Along with Ram Madhav, National Secretary Sunil Deodhar also visited Tripura. However, their purpose of visit was election centric, whereas during the whole year, disruption in law and order left unvisited by these leaders.
Election Commission of India is tightly controlling the situations and recently issued notice to Tripura Govt after Left parties complained to EC about deteriorating law and order condition.
Report revealed, in last one year BJP Govt in Tripura did not allow agitations against the Govt and attempted to shut democratic voice. Attacks on opposition, common men, media went on undisputedly.
