Even though lakhs were invested in ruling Govt’s propaganda centering the book fare but local and outsider all businessmen alleged massive loss in the business this year. Another book-seller turned his red-eyes when media asked him, how was the Book fair was. He said, it was very bad and they are now working like labours as no management was there. He also said, if such situation continues then they would not come again in book fair of Agartala. When Education Minister Ratanlal Nath is propagating everywhere that from budget to cabinet meetings, Education is the first priority for the BJP Govt, this is the condition of Colleges and Higher Education system, where in 2019 no book was purchased for the Colleges.

Recently while referring NCERT’s syllabus introduction in Tripura schools, Biplab Deb claimed, Manik Sarkar as Chief Minister was only coming-going to office and was sleeping, whereas BJP Govt has introduced NCERT.

Also time to time, Govt is raising questions on the literacy rate of the state which Tripura achieved in CPI-M Govt’s time.

The book fair since the beginning came under massive rage due to no proper arrangement.

Then it took another turn when BJP mafias went to the book fair authority, warned to shutdown SFI’s bookstall as they are selling a book against Modi’s Gujarat and the violence of that state. They also looted, vandalized SFI’s book stalls. Later in High Court’s order, the book-stall was reopened.
