AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): CPI-M Politburo member Brinda Karat during her visit in Tripura on Tuesday has hit the 5 months old BJP-govt for not permitting oppositions to hold protest, challenging the BJP to cite a single example of Mob Lynching when the oppositions didn't get permission for rallies during CPI-M's 25 years ruling. She also slammed the BJP Govt for mob-lynching incidents in the state which was designed by none other than but BJP Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath himself. "People have seen, how the Minister (Ratan Lal Nath) had spread rumour, unnecessarily created an environment of terror in the state claiming Child-lifters are existing in the state. In front of police such activities took place. What didn't happen in last 25 years BJP has done in in 6 months", Karat said. Brinda Karat was addressing in a demonstration, organized by "All India Democratic Women's Association" at Paradise Chowmuhani. Karat further raised question, what kind of 'intolerance', 'trend' have been reared among the BJP, RSS activists but "it's not just about BJP, RSS but it's about the Constitution".

"Constitution has given us right to hold protests, rallies, demonstrations. If Govt does well, we will give support but if it does not do good works we will protest and this is the system, but BJP-govt is unready to obey the constitution and the Govt itself has taught ruling party activists to attack the oppositions without hesitations", Karat added.

"Whole India knows, how much peaceful state has been Tripura, but the BJP-IPFT Govt is at its best to destroy the peace here. The tribal community was being educated with Left Govt's vision, which nobody can deny and that is called Ganabikash", Brinda Karat said.

"We have not forgotten what, what promise did BJP made before the election. We'll protest for the common men and hoping common men will stay with us", Karat said further adding there was no much differences in the voting percentage between BJP and CPI-M in the last Assembly Election.

"We believe in democracy. We keep trust in Kanoon but you (BJP) are involved in undemocratic activists against the opposition, gradually hitting the common men too", she added.
