BMS, BJP fighting at Nagerjala : Police blamed both

AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): West District Police's immediate action saved Nagerjala Bus Stand from further violent clashes among BMS and BJP's wing "Unnoyon Mancha".
SP West Ajit Pratap Singh told media that on the one side BMS had been blocking road and on the other side the other group (Unnoyon Mancha) were gathered in a spot and soon it was seen that all of them are fighting.
To control situation police immediately began lathi charge and sent the injured persons in hospital. Police have also held few persons for interrogation.
"West Dist police will be merciless against any peace violator", SP told media.
SP also said, strict action to be taken against all the persons involved in that activity.
