AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): After Rose valley had looted poor people in Tripura back in 2008-2012, now separate chit fund kinds of looters are eyeing for Tripura's poor people's money !

Taking the opportunity of unemployment and poverty frauds are in market with fake job promises. With a shocking development, when Tripura is suffering from unemployment problems, a group of frauds have taken away Rs. 2500 from many unemployed women, girls here.

All of them are tribal women. Since few months Rs. 2500 were collected from women of Bodhjungagar area and other areas by a lady known as 'Krishna Madam' and her friend. The women and girls were promised by the frauds that under NEEPCO company they will be given jobs at Rs. 7000/-.It was told them, there are various companies under NEEPCO as biscuits, garment etc.

However, getting no job offers when the unemployed women and girls came to meet Krishna at her home, she said the company's people are not contacting her anymore. With all these, a heavy verbal argument erupted among the victims and her.

Being asked by media, how they had fallen in that trap, the unemployed women said that as they had nothing to do and out of poverty they trusted the woman. Few managed the money in debt, whereas few borrow that money with interest.

Tripura tops in unemployment among all the Indian states of India. With new govt came in power, within five months the unemployment toll has raised further. Allegations are there that rural areas are suffering due to the workless conditions.
