AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Birjit Sinha has announced the cancellation of August 27's protest which named as 'Ahingsha Ain Amanyo Andolon'.

As Congress to hold a protest at Delhi against PM Modi led BJP Govt's scams on August 30, so the programme has been cancelled.

Earlier, Sinha said the meaning behind protest without police’s permission is to break the law of the Govt and at least 5000 youths will participate in the agitation on August 17..

At 12.30 pm on August 27 the rally wasl be started and at the same time at Agartala Airport National Youth Congress President Keshab Chandra Yadav and other National leaders were scheduled to be welcomed with a massive bike rally.
