AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): Keeping Durga Puja ahead club members have become busy with puja pandal preparations here in Agartala. Only 66 days have been left for Durga Puja.
At Bharat Ratna Club, already since a week the pandal preparations are going on. The largest Hindu temple of Cambodia will be replicated this year in this club.
As 80 days left Durga Puja, artisans are busy in making Durga idols in Tripura.Orders for idols have already given to the Artisans.
This year Durga puja to be started from October 15 and to be ended on October 19.
Various pre-bookings for puja season as beauty parlour have been kicked off, whereas designers already taken works in hands.
Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava, is an annual Hindu festival in the Indian subcontinent that reveres the goddess Durga. Durga Puja is believed to be the greatest festival of the Bengali people.
In Bengali populated Tripura, Durga Puja is celebrated grandly, however, among all these puja ‘donations’ make people to suffer.
