AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN):Switching on the alliance signal, Tripura Congress has called upon all non-BJP parties to join together to fight back BJP.
Addressing in a press conference at the Congress Headquarter, Congress spokesperson Harekrishna Bhowmik said, “I appeal to the people to unseat BJP and to restore the democracy. Attacks upon oppositions, vandalizing of properties continues under the BJP govt since March 3rd”.
“Democracy is no more existing in Tripura and even after requesting police and the ruling govt, no security was given to the Congress leaders. We’ll meet DGP in this regard. Also we have sent report to Congress National President Rahul Gandhi”, he said.
Congress has called INPT, TMC and all non-BJP parties to join together.
The attack upon Congress President Birjit Sinha was also condemned by Ex-CM cum CPI-M opposition leader Manik Sarkar during his speech in Jail Bharo movement.
