AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M has condemned Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s show off before media which turned worse when he tried to evaluate College students of Women’s College.
CPI-M raised question, instead of motivating how could the Education Minister told the students “You are backdated ?”
CPI-M also raised question, “Who is Ratan Lal Nath to evaluate College students who is just a BA pass?”
Ratan Lal Nath on August 5 had visited Women’s College with above 15 media persons, camera men, scolded insulted College students after they failed to utter cabinet Ministers names.
The siation after Minister’s entry to a class is like this : Minister teaching a topic and videographers are seriously recording everything and few go live telecasting and the students, teachers have to perform live before media. The students of Women’s College have expressed extreme resentment with the Ministers’ visit as their GK was not updated.
The scolding and talks between administration should not a public-space to be mocked. A student is unable to answer a question and Minister is scolding and people giving claps before TV may woo votebanks but it’s insult and mental pressure upon the students.
Infact angry Women’s College students said after Minister’s departure that they are above 18 years old and are not bound to answer Minister what is Tripura CM’s name.
