AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): Tripura has witnessed saffonization of Administration when Chief Minister Biplab Deb took her Party Secretary (Mahamantri) Pratima Bhowmik in Sports & Youths Affairs programme. Pratima Bhowmik has already covered many Govt programmes at the micro level at Sonamura and other subdivisions where she introduced herself as a "social worker". But on Monday in the felicitation programme organized for the players of ADC, who have won the championship trophy at Asian level, she was sharing dais with Chief Minister and other officials, which sparked controversy on spot. Question raises, instead of taking Sports Minister Manoj Deb and ADC CEM Radha Charan Debbarma, why a BJP leader was taken at there ? This is the first time that Sports & Youth Affairs Dept has practiced such a process.

Today actually the main programme was announced by TTADC where the students were to felicitated, but CM has chosen same date without inviting CEM of ADC Radhacharan Debbarma in the programme. However, BJP Sports Minister Manoj Deb's absence's reason was also not announced, rather Chief Minister criticized the previous Govt even though ADC belong to CPI-M's governance and the students were sent by TTADC administration.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Monday during the felicitation programme of under 17 football players who won Asian Students Championship this year said that the previous Govt was never concerned about sports and always in slumber to develop the sports sector.

However, CM couldn't avoid ADC's contribution in talent search of footballers sand said, 'Ofcourse TTADC Chief Executive member (Radhacharan Debbarma) and other officials efforts go behind this success, but the students came out with their own talent. By the previous Govt no management was done for the players', says CM adding, 'I will not say that my four months Govt has done this alone'. 

"Earlier Govt lacked speed and football is one of the speediest games. I wanted this particular speed in my state. I am very happy", he added. 

Tripura Govt has felicitated state's Football players (Under-17) for winning the Championship defeating Pakistan at Students Olympic Asian Games at Bhagat Singh Yuva Awas. 

However, both the Sports Minister Manoj Deb of BJP Govt and Chief Executive member of ADC Radhacharan Debbarma were missing from the programme. 

Whether they were invited or not, it has raised question.
