AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Non-BJP parties parliamentary delegation''s Tripura visit ended with note of massive large scale violence and degradation of Law & Order under Biplab Deb led BJP Govt. Ending her two days long visit in Tripura, social activist Medha Patkar while addressing media at Agartala Press Club has expressed her concern about Tripura's law and order situation pointing the murder episodes of the state in last 5 months. “People have been killed, lynched, CPI-M activists were injured, murdered and attacks are going on. CPI-M party offices, which are even pakka-buildings have been demolished and the devastating demolitions are going on. Democracy is no more existing in this state under BJP Govt”. “The party offices were bulldozed because they are established govt land whereas with the same party offices markets, shops, houses are equally standing but nobody touched them. It proves, the party offices of CPI-M has been demolished intentionally. If this is the condition of 5 months of their Governance, what will happen in next 5 years ?”

“Me along with MPs and state MP Jitendra Choudhury have visited the ADC area under Gandacharra Sub Division. In Udaipur the party offices were bulldozed mercilessly without giving a even a notice. But when we asked the SDM, he said that due to Govt land’s occupying the party office was bulldozed”, she added.

“75 years old party office was bulldozed. Most of them were CPI-M, few were Congress party offices. Bulldozing of party offices also a violation of the constitution. A party office was broken which was made in 1945”, she  added.

Apart from Medha Patkar, CPI-M MP  K.K. Ragesh, other national leaders as Rajaram Singh, Ashok Dhariwal were also present in that press meet and everyone has different topic of discussion.

The non-BJP MPs told media that all the BJP ruled states’ condition is same.
