AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): After Bharatiya Janata Party's Chief Amit Shah had appointed Tripura BJP In-charge Sunil Deodhar as the National Secretary ahead of Lok Sabha poll and Andra Pradesh Co-Incharge, Deodhar has received a grand welcome at Agartala Airport on Sunday. After arriving in Agartala Airport, Deodhar said, “I am grateful to the BJP Tripura leaders and karyakartas for overwhelming reception at Agartala airport. Reached here for the first time after being entrusted the responsibility as National Secretary and Co-Incharge, Andhra Pradesh”. Sunil Deodhar alone is now with three big responsibilities as along with being National Secretary and Tripura BJP Incharge, he will also continue as Assistant Prabhari (Co-in Charge) of Andhra Pradesh. Among BJP Ministers, only Sudip Barman and MLA Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Asish Saha were present at the Airport.

A massive rally had followed Deodhar at Agartala Airport to but as expected Chief Minister Biplab Deb was not present at there. 

It was Sunil Deodhar who lifted Biplab Deb from ZERO to the CM's post but CM Biplab forgot his mentor's contribution & all RSS ethics. 

Also till dayt since Deodhar became the National Secretary Biplab Deb didn’t wish Deodhar so far in social media , even not a single tweet was dedicated for Deodhar even though Tripura Election went in BJP’s favour due to Deodhar’s leadership, rather than any other.

Rather Tripura BJP’s Social Media operators close to Chief Minister Biplab Deb propagating a false propaganda that Sunil Deodhar was removed from Tripura by Amit Shah and Biplab Deb is in full charge of BJP Party in State.

Sunil Deodhar himself had to clear the issue by coming before media by issuing statement that he is still in-charge for Tripura.

On July 30, 2018 Sunil Deodhar wrote the official message :

"Thanks in tons to Shri Amit Shah Ji ,Shri Narendra Modi Ji for showing trust in me and appointing as the National Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) In addition to BJP Tripura State Incharge I have been entrusted as State Co-Incharge of BJP Andhra Pradesh today. 
I will fulfill my new responsibilities with full dedication and commitment. I need your blessings and cooperation. Thanks A Lot !

In last 5 months, due to immature speeches from 'Internet in Mahabharata' to Diana Hayden and many others by Biplab Deb;  BJP’s image took a severe beating. However, with Deodhar’s arrival now hope is there among BJP activists that the party will repair the damages caused by Biplab Deb in last 5 months.
