AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Ratan Lal turned ‘Problem solver ‘Nanny’ of all seasons for Tripura’s inexperienced Chief Minister. So far, when the SSA teachers will be regularized it's unsure after whole day session. Before the Election the Political leaders who day night worked with 'jhandas', now measuring themselves with "Mountains". Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday has called ownself as "Mountain" saying people don't have to look at the Mountain but the Minister himself has come to meet the common men today. The SSA teachers who were not permitted yesterday to gather today by West District Police at first, but later after the letter of police was leaked then SSA teachers got permission in the evening, was today thanked by the Education cum Law Minister saying it's excellent decision to hold the gathering on holiday as no more "Dharna" will be accepted in coming days especially on working day. Ratan Lal Nath also said, if BJP Govt had not taken action then the SSA teachers jobs would be terminated on March 31st, 2018.

"Our Govt wants to stand on its own feet. In 1971 it was said to the Govt of India that state wants to stand on its own feet, but till now it could not stand on its own feet. Tripura's Education quality was never developed, but our Govt is aimed to promote quality Education and for that we have increased the budget this year".

However, there was no assurance from the Minister when the SSAs will be regularized. 

With the demand of regularization, Tripura SSA teachers have gathered before Rabindra Bhawan on Saturday.

The programme has been conducted in remembrance of the 7 days long Hunger Strike led by the SSA teachers in 2017. They observed the Hunger Strike since August 1st to August 7, 2017.

The SSA teachers have named the protest as "Satyagrahi Andolon".

Noteworthy, Tripura BJP in its pre-poll promise scripted in the Vision Document  about regularization all Contractual Employees. In the Vision Document, published by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in No-10 promise, it was said, "BJP will REGULARIZE CONTRACTUAL Govt Employees". 

SSA teachers played a vital role to led the BJP to win the election.
