AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday while addressing the Lok Sabha claimed 85 % of insurgency has been lessened in the Northeast.

“The main problem of Northeast has been insurgency  and under the present govt 85 % of insurgency trends has been decreased here”, Singh said.

Opposition than threw sharp attacks upon Rajnath Singh regarding Tripura mob lynching and Naga-issue at there. In each case, Singh said proper action to be taken including rehab of the surrendered militants.

Regarding mob-lynching Rajnath Singh asked the state govts to take strict actions and if needed draft laws against mob-lynching.
