AGARTALA (Bordowali), July 19 (TIWN): One more has been arrested in Agartala Bordowali mob violence incident which took place on July 13.

The arrested person has been identified as Krishna Chandra Das (27).

Police on July 17 had arrested the mastermind of that mob-violence.The arrested person is Samsul Haq S/O- Janu Miah of West Pratapgarh under PS - AD Nagar PS.

The arrests have been done in connection with rumour mongering, bike burning and assaulting an innocent in front of Bordowali school with child-lifter rumour. He was arrested from Pratap Sangha near steel bridge on Tuesday.

Samsul Haq not only had beaten Anjan Dey but openly said before media, “I have beaten him and we didn’t listen to the police. We have burnt the bike”.

Background of the incident : One young man Anjan Dey, S/O-Ashit Chandra Dey was beaten heavily by school students' guardians with child lifter allegations on Friday.

The incident took place in front of Bordowali school when Anjan Dey went in Bordowali school for a contractual work purpose.

When he was coming out of the school he saw few men are escaping and guardians are running here and there. Without understanding anything Anjan Dey also ran from the spot but suddenly guardians caught him and beaten him heavily.

Police have rescued Anjan anyhow but the guardians and locals had burnt his bike.
