AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): When the newly charged state govt has ordered for proper traffic management, reckless unknown people are attacking police with stones. In such an incident one young traffic police was heavily injured on his head.

The thrown stone was too hard that the traffic police even could die, however narrowly escaped from death.

The injured traffic police is Sahil Mia, was immediately taken to IGM hospital. He has undergone four stitches. He was heavily injured on head on Wednesday evening when police were checking papers from the bikers at A D Nagar.

Recently in some other places also similar incidents were reported but today the traffic police has been injured seriously.

On July 7, one biker had driven his bike over a traffic police in IGM Chowmuhani named Mahadeb Majumder when he asked the biker to stop to check papers and license. In that incident Mahadeb Majumder’s leg was fractured.
