AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has returned state after a successful NEC meet at Shillong for long 2 days at there.
After returning, CM while addressing media at Agartal Airport said, “The discussion was basically confined with doubling farmers income and or govt is working in the direction of PM Modi”.
CM also said, “State Govt will focus on bamboo plantation and development so that Northeast can earn revenue with that”.
The Chief Minister also has confirmed that there is no lacking of bamboo in state.
CM further made it clear that NEC can play a great role in the marketing of fruits and food items.
“I have also placed Government's vision of making a 'Drugs Free Tripura' into making a 'Drugs Free North East' and called upon the member CMs and Governors to for their support in this direction”, Biplab Deb told media.
