AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Due to Assam Ex-Chief Secretary P P Verma led committee’s total failure to submit 7th Pay Commission’s report before Tripura Govt leading mass resentment among the state govt employees of the state and at the same time the failed Verma committee has become a problem for the state govt too as due to Verma’s failure in report submitting, Biplab Deb led state govt is unable to implement 7th Pay Commission in time. Tripura Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma also accepted that due to Verma Committee’s delay in report submitting, the State Govt is unable to implement it, whereas from State Govt side all are ready to implement the Pay Commission as soon as the report comes.

On the other side, state’s oppositions are in full action to criticize the Govt claiming that it’s the govt which is failed to implement 7th Pay Commission even after 4 months of passage after the govt formation.

Congress leader Gopal Roy on Friday picked up 7th Pay Committee issue which is still under process of Verma comittee

Gopal Roy said, “BJP has chosen to hang the fulfillment of demands and to keep the vote banks with them with fake-hopes but nothing is happening when it comes about reality. It means the govt is trying to cross their vessel safe till Lok Sabha Election, but Tripura people are intelligent enough to catch their intentions”.

“The Verma committee was formed for 7th Pay Commission’s implementation and within 3 months the committee was to place its report. However, on that time Chief Minister Biplab Deb said within 1 and half month the 7th Pay Commission’s report has to be delivered by Verma Committee, but when 4 months are going, the 7th Commission related report has so far not submitted”, Gopal Roy told media..

However, state govt has been strict to its promise saying, “All the promises in vision document will be fulfilled soon”.

Now, it’s to be seen how far oppositions' claims are proven as true or Biplab Deb led Govt will successfully launch 7th Pay Commission.
