AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Health Minister Sudip Barman has inaugurated a blood donation camp at Agartala conducted by ration shop dealers under the banner of ‘Tripura Nyajya Mullyer Parichalak Samiti’.

During the blood donation camp, the ration shop dealers handed over 9 points of demands before the Health Minister.

Their demands are :

1. Social pension/ honourium for the dealers,
2. To follow proper guideline of ration shop management through epos machine,
3. To bring the dealers under National Health Mission,
4. To allow 35 kilo of rice per APL families,
5. 1 kilo of sugar must be given to the customers like before,
6. To collect kerosene from BOC through electronic measuring machine,
7. To hike the commission for kerosene and sugar,
8. 14 commodities should be provided through ration shops,
9. Not to provide daal and oil subsidy directly to the customers but to collect them via ration shops.
