Agartala, September 11 (TIWN): The fate of 10,323 teachers again led in the court on Friday tomorrow. Earlier in the month of August the Supreme Court had issued a stay order in the termination of teachers. The question arises now is whether Supreme Court raise a new ray of hope for these teachers or they will dissolve in the dark night on next hearing ?
It is to be mentioned here that the High Court of Tripura on seventh May issued an order for the termination of services of 10,323 teachers as the State government does not follow the justified process for their selection.. After that the Government appealed to the Supreme Court to take proper action in the termination issue of the teachers. Accordingly the Court on its first hearing declared to put stay order in the case and decided the next day of hearing on 12th September.
In addition to these the Government also rejected the advanced wage of Pre-Puja bonus for these 10,323 teachers. Though the welfare Government for the benefits of the people marched to the Supreme Court, then why this kind of unjustice to them ? The matter is to be taken in proper consideration.
