AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): The terminated 10323 teachers cases next hearing is tomorrow.
Tensions have gripped the 10323 teachers as the next hearing is to decide the fate of the teachers for next two years.
BJP Govt recently appealed in the Supreme Court for further extension of their jobs for next 2 years on ad-hoc basis.
SC neither extended, not terminated the ad-hoc job doers on its last verdict and on June 4, in a hearing SC postponed the final verdict till July 1st week along with holding the termination till the next verdict.
The 10323 teachers who were terminated with Supreme Court’s final verdict are going to lose their jobs after 30th June 2018 as after 31st December their jobs were increased on ad-hoc basis for more 6 months but that tenure also is going to end on June 30th.
10,323 teachers' jobs were first cancelled by Tripura High Court in 2014 on May 7 after spotting irregularities in the recruitment process, before the issue was taken to Supreme Court by the CPI-M Govt.
On March 29, 2017, the Supreme Court also held High Court's order and terminated the teachers. Supreme Court in a humanitarian gesture to 10323 teachers mentioned that the teachers will continue their jobs till 2017, 31st Dec.
Later with the request of Tripura Govt, the Supreme Court added 6 months of ad hoc basis jobs for the teachers which will be end on June 30, 2018.
Now with BJP Govt has re-appealed for further extension of the ad hoc, the next hearing will be pronounced on tomorrow.
