AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): CBI investigation unearthed IPFT’s criminal face as top 3 leaders and 500 supporters are booked for lynching Journalist Santanu Bhowmik on Sept 20,2017 outskirts of Agartala. As per PTI report, CBI has booked top IPFT leaders Balram Deb Barma, Dhirendra Deb Barma and Amit Deb Barma, the president of the Mandwi divisional committee of the party, along with 450 to 500 of its unidentified members, in connection with the Santanu Bhowmik murder. IPFT's brutal attack has killed Tripura young journalist Santanu Bhowmik on Wednesday, Sept 20,2017, PTI reported. CPI-M spokesman Gautam Das on 16th December, 2017 via a Press meet directly named IPFT leaders behind Journalist Santanu Bhaumik murder, also accused that BJP was harbouring IPFT criminals in spite of Police filed charge-sheets.

On 16^th December,2017 Gautam Das stated that,  6 IPFT supporters police filed chargesheet but among them the two have joined in BJP named Ramendra Debbarma (Ramendu), Pushrai Debbarma (Soumendu), who were in hiding.

Most important question is, IPFT's criminal involvment have not stressed IPFT Chief N C Debbarma as criminals now occupying Ministrial posts. 

Addressing a press meet on 16th Dec, 2017, Gautam Das said, “It’s a very dangerous politics BJP is playing. We demand that Sunil Deodhar should hand over the youths to police as they had surrendered to him”.

“Police is unable to trace the mafias but BJP is supporting them ? BJP is a party of murderers, mafias”, alleged Gautam Das.“So we demand that the State Observer of BJP Sunil Deodhar must hand over the youths to police”, added Gautam Das. Noteworthy, BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar had welcomed tribal supporters of the state on Dec 15,2017 at Krishnanagar party office. All the activists were from IPFT named : 1) Ramanada Debbarma (Yuva IPFT Ass Secretary), 2)Pushrai Debbarma (Yuva IPFT Division V P), 3)Sunil Tripura (Yuva IPFT Langtarai Valley Division G S) 4) Subash Reang, 5) Debanand Debbarma (Khowai IPFT Asst Secretary).

IPFT crminals in spite of occupying Ministers posts in BJP-IPFT Govt, still continued attacking BJP supporters.

Biplab Deb, Sunil Deodhar's leadership test is under scanner as BJP-IPFT unholy alliance will only damage BJP's votebank in Tripura.

CBI now must speed up convictions of all IPFT killers before State BJP's weak leadership surrenders to IPFT leadership and CBI investigation dumped into cold storage for the sake of BJP-IPFT votebank politics.
