For Kick Boxing player Nistha Chakraborty, Kovind said, "Delighted to meet Nistha Chakraborty, a promising Kick Boxing player who recently bagged a Gold medal in WAKO Diamond World Cup 2018 in Russia. Best wishes to her".

"Proud to meet Laxmita Reang, goalkeeper of the national women's football team. Conveyed my best wishes to her", Kovind said as caption on his photo with Laxmita.

"Had a wonderful interaction with Samir Barman, who bagged three Gold medals in National Para Swimming Championship 2017. His dedication and grit is an inspiration for all. My best wishes".

"It was wonderful to meet young Judo player Ashmita Dey (16). She has won the Gold medal in National School Games 2017 and Silver medal in Khelo India 2017", said Kovind for Ashmita Dey.

Meeting little champ Aabahan Debnath, President mentioned, "Happy to meet Aabahan Debnath (12) who secured first position in 11th GFI National Grappling Championship 2018. I wish him the very best for a great future".
