IPFT locks Lefunga block demanding IPFT leader as BAC Chairman

AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Separatists IPFT activists have continued their demand of immediate resignation of Block Advisory Committee Chairman (BAC) Ranabir Debbarma at Lefunga block and to replace that Chairman with an IPFT leader.
The Lefunga block office was locked by IPFT for the 3rd time.
According to IPFT in ADC areas no other party leader including BJP can exist as BAC chairman.
Tripura BJP led State Govt is however totally silent on that issue even after various road blockade and clashes in the state.
Yesterday another violent clash had conducted among BJP and IPFT activists.Add your Comment
