AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): A massive fire broke out in Union Bank at Ganaraj Chowmuhani in Agartala.

Total 5 fire brigade engines rushed to the spot to control the fire. After hours of attempts, the fire had been brought under control.

No loss to the cash banks were primarily reported but the total loss held inside the bank yet to be measured.

A causality or any untoward incident has been informed following the incident. Tension gripped the whole area at Ganaraj Chowmuhani.

The primary cause of the fire has been identified as short-circuit.
