AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): Alteast two shops were looted at Radhanagar area in Agartala on yesterday night, generated much resentments among the locals.

One of the shops was Jewellery-storage belong with owner Babul Banik, whereas another shop which belong to Haru Deb was a stationary storage.

After getting alert about the theft incident police were immediately informed but locals complained that police did not come in time to investigate.

The locals also expressed resentment about the increasing theft cases at Radhanagar areas. Negligence of police in night duties have been alleged.
