AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): For the first time after winning Assembly Election, Chief Minister Biplab Deb in a sharp rebuke to Manik Sarkar denounced former CM’s cries over CPI-M party offices demolitions. Biplab Deb said, "The bulldozed party offices themselves were illegal and what state govt has done it was followed by cabinet meeting's decision, which is totally under Law. Since decades govt lands were occupied by CPI-M party offices. But when Manik Sarkar is crying over the illegal party offices demolitions too much, he is silent on other problems of the states. He could draw more sympathy if once he had visited the flood affected areas of the state". "In last few days, flood had damaged many areas of the state. People died, lost their houses due to flood and rains. On behalf of State Govt we are trying our level best to help the people but it's surprising when people are dying mercilessly, the Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar didn't bother to visit those areas". "Since 25 years CPI-M was ruling the state, but they failed to show report cards before the Election. Their white dresses became dirty due to corruptions held in the last 25 years and thus people have rejected them", Biplab Deb said.

The issue was raised by Biplab Deb after Manik Sarkar on May-25 during his speech at Orient Chowmuhani in Left parties rally warned the BJP Govt that all days are not same, raising the party offices bulldozing issue.

However, reacting over Manik Sarkar's allegations, Biplab Deb said whatever BJP Govt has done it's totally legal.
