AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has once again repeated the party office demolition issue saying the decision of the state govt to demolish party offices was ‘dangerous’ and the demolitions were undemocratic.
The Congress also claimed that the decision led 70 years old party office demolition and one of the party offices was historical where during Indo-Bangla war people used to take shelter.
In a press conference on Thursday, Congress President Birjit Sinha said.
“We are also thinking to take legal action against the state govt. We are already trying for that”, Sinha added.
The BJP Govt has ordered all party offices demolition which are made over govt lands. Only 7 days time were given to the offices for shifting without any compensation which led various protests in the state.
