AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Corrupt Vice Chancellor & his coterie in the name of investigation victimized an innocent rather than punishing culprits Manas Pal and Ashesh Gupta. Tripura Central University Lecturer Jai Kaushal is suspended and all blames dumped on him after State Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was insulted in Tripura University on yesterday by not allowing speech during the 11th convocation. During the programme where Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu had attended as the Chief Guest of the programme an embarrassing situation emerged before the state Higher Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath. First the anchor Jai Kaushal requested Minister Ratan Lal Nath to address the hall after Chief Guest’s speech, which doesn’t come under the protocol as after Chief Guest’s speech nobody can deliver speech.

But after being requested by the anchor, Ratan Lal Nath began his speech. Within 1 minute of the speech a paper was given to the Minister by Jai Kaushal  asking to end his speech, which caused massive embarrassment to the Education Minister. 

Being furious over the incident Ratan Lal Nath told the University, “I was advised by people not to come in this University and what I suspected it happened. The corrupt team with conspiracy have insulted the 37 lakh people of Tripura. This is insult of the state govt too”.

After the incident it was cleared that Jai Kaushal was victimized in that incident whereas such a huge programme addressed by Vice President of India was not a one-day plan. Jay Kaushal also can be suspended, source said. 

Before one day of the programme, various newspapers hit the corrupt Vice Chancellor alleging the whole programme was conducted plan-wise to suppress the corruption of the University.

During his speech, Governor Tathagata Roy also said, "All is not well in this University".

BJP spokesperson Mrinal Kanti Deb also said, “I stand with Jai Kaushal”, but ultimately he was suspended.

The University formed a investigation committee led by the corrupt Vice Chancellor and his team. In this situation, what kind of investigation it will be it’s easily can be guessed.

The Vice Chancellor is also accused of Rs. 10 crores E-Book scam and illegal recruitment in this University. 

However, no statement could be received from the Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath yet in this regard.

But the fact is it’s VC Anjan Ghosh’s right hand man cum PR & Media Consultant Manas Pal and faculty Ashesh Gupta ( both hardcore CPI-M and close to Manik Sarkar) actually hatched a conspiracy to insult the State Education Minister after Governor’s bold speech exposing University irregularities.
