AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): National BJP President Amit Shah has taken a bold decision to promote Jishnu Debbarma via Kartaka election, who can be the true representative of Tripura. Following various controversial statements led by Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb in last 20 days, which has damaged BJP’s image badly at national level, Central BJP has called Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma for the election campaigning at there. Jishnu Debbarma has departed for Karnataka election rally today. At least 10 to 12 party rallies will be attended by the Deputy Chief Minister at there, reported by Tripura dailies.Recently after national media had reported on various controversial statements from "Mahabharata era has internet facility" to "Diana Hayden as unworthy to be Miss World", Biplab Deb’s name was excluded from Karnataka Election rally, which was covered by NDTV and some more national news portals.

On that time another news attacking the statement, in support of Biplab Deb said, “Biplab Deb who is right now New Delhi, would move for Karnataka”. But today Deb has returned the state  and till now no campaigning has been offered to him.

Jishnu Debbarma, also a member of the Tripura Royal family has been very neutral in his  statements. Jishnu Debbarma was the single leader who openly said, 'A country can't develop with religions only'. Not only this, Jishnu Debbarma was in BJP since decades, when BJP has nothing in the state.

The economic crisis situation of state Tripura was described before the public through two press conferences very briefly and diplomatically and he made the public to give the BJP Govt time to fulfill their Vision Document.

However, according to the reports, in various tribal dominated areas also Jishnu Debbarma will deliver speech.
